Talk Title: Bring New Physics to the Elementary Classroom
 Presenter(s): Marchant, Beth - Notre Dame University, Marchant.2@nd.edu, Staff/PI
 Date: 8-7-2002
 Event: AAPT
Talk Annotation: Bringing particle physics to the middle school classroom can be easy, interesting, and fun. High-energy particle physics seems unreachable to many teachers, yet we are being bombarded by some of these particles every day. Using a variety of activities, I have led workshops on high-energy particle physics for sixth to eighth-grade girls. Handouts will be supplied with activities that I have used in these workshops.
