Research: As a member of the CDF Run II silicon detector operations group, my responsibility was to perform upgrades on the Data Acquisition (DAQ) component test stand; remove, repair, and reinstall faulty power supply modules; and analyze and repair holes and blockages in the cooling system lines. This work was done to ensure that the detector will be able to run at a high efficiency in 2010 and beyond, lasting throughout the final run of the Tevatron.
