Modeling buncher cavity for Project X MEBT, development eccentricity correction module for Cavity Tuning Machine. (pdf)
Research: The calculations of electro-magnetic field distribution, temperature distribution and frequency shift due to heat induced deformations were performed in CST Multiphysics and COMSOL Multiphysis.
I developed a new eccentricity correction module for CTM which minimize bends needed to bring positions of cavity cell’s centers in the tolerance range.
