Who I am: I am an Electrical Engineering senior at the Illinois Institute of Technology focusing on communications. This summer I hope to apply my skills and grow in knowledge by working with the Mu2e Tracker team.
Research: As part of the Mu2e experiment, the tracker has one of the most important roles as it will be used to collect information about neutrino-less muon to electron conversion. The electronics used in for data collection will be located within the tracker and thus will be exposed to radiation for an extended period of time. My research is focused on reducing the number of components, that could potentially fail, by building an analog to digital converter into the FPGA.
