Who I am: I am a physics student, currently attending the last year of my master program in Ferrara. As a scientist I am mostly fascinated by particle physics and by the veil of mystery covering physics beyond the Standard Model. During my course of study, I became familiar with GEM detectors, working with the BESIII group present in Ferrara. For the the last year I've been working on neutrinos, with particular attention to LArTPC detectors.
Research: Since detectors in the SBN Collaboration are going to use different electronics to study neutrino events, a study on possible systematic errors has to be done. I am currently analyzing how varying sampling and shaping time parameters in the electronics could affect: hit topology, calorimetry, hit recognition efficiency and time resolution.
