Who I am: I am an Electronic Engineering student at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy). Starting from October I will begin my Masters Degree. I chose this course of study because I am fascinated by how electronics is affecting the world and I aim in the future to give my real contribution. Working here is a great opportunity to get in touch with a highly specialized work environment and concretely apply what I learned throughout the years of study.
Research: My research consists in the development of the controlling system for the Thermal Chamber that is used to test the new CMS silicon modules. A Beaglebone Black is the main controller and implements a logic that monitors the temperature and dew point of the entire box and of each module, and grants the proper operation by providing a fail-safe feature.
