Who I am: I'm from Portland, OR and recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in astrophysics. My senior thesis pertained to cosmology, constraining the scatter between stellar mass and dark matter halo mass for galaxies more massive than the Milky Way. I plan on pursuing higher education in physics or astronomy, and enjoy west coast swing dancing, hiking, and music in my free time.
Research: Theoretical predictions for neutrino interactions depend heavily on nuclear response models; however, these models are hard to constrain with experimental data because of high uncertainties beam energy. Monoenergetic electron beams show promise to constrain these models, so we show comparability between electron and neutrino scattering processes and analyze variables sensitive to nuclear response models.
