Educator Workshop: Summer Secondary Physics Institute - Modern Physics, NGSS, and Fermilab

Description: The Summer Secondary Science Institutes are one- or two-week workshops on science content and classroom experiments and techniques for high school teachers. None is a prerequisite for any other.

Learn how to connect your classroom to the physics of Fermilab and the NGSS! Master Teachers will lead discussion and exploration of the Next Generation Science Standards through effective pedagogy and laboratory experiences. Laboratory experiences will include work with both traditional equipment, computer-based data-taking devices, and several make and takes for use in your physics classes! Participants will tour selected Fermilab sites and participate in discussions with Fermilab physicists and engineers.
